Can Roberto Loungo Return to form?

Hey guys.Syko here. Many of you know me from NHLJambalaya.blogspot.com, so I don't really need to introduce myself.

I wonder how Roberto Luongo must have felt after winning gold for Team Canada. Well, whatever it was, his success did not translate into a winning season for Van City. He posted his worst save percentage last year, .913. That's not bad whatsoever. But Loui is better then that. His defence corps were not helping by getting injured.  Luongo admitted it was an emotional letdown that forced him to have a bad finish to the season.

That's not what Canucks fans want to hear.

Just recently he gave up the captaincy. Was it too much responsibility for one of the best goalies in the NHL? We will have to wait and see when the season starts in the next couple of weeks.

Luongo is a competitive player and should rebound from his poor second half. He will probably end up among the league leaders in wins and should remain an elite goalie.

Canucks Jambalaya is in no way, shape or form associated with the Vancouver Canucks or the AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose. This is a fans blog for fans. We happen to love those teams, so we write about it.
